Marinara  sauce is an Italian sauce that originated in Naples, usually made with tomatoes, garlic, herbs, and onions. Its many variations can include the addition of capers, olives and spices.

Bolognese sauce, known in Italian as ragù (alla) bolognese, or simply argue is a meat-based sauce originating from Bologna, Italy. In Italian cuisine, it is customarily used to dress  “tagliatelle al argue” and to prepare ” lasagne alla bolognese“.
