Description

The winery has its vineyards on the best steep slopes around Straden in south-eastern Styria. 36 hectares of vineyards are processed in the winery, of which 31 hectares are cultivated themselves. 5 hectares are managed by contract grape producers according to the specifications of the Neumeister family. The typical Styrian grape varieties are cultivated in the vineyards. In addition to Sauvignon Blanc, Gelben Muskateller, Welschriesling, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris, also Morillon and Traminer. Zweigelt and Pinot Noir are planted for the reds. Treating the landscape and nature with care is a matter of course for the Neumeister family, which is why they do not use herbicides, pesticides or chemical fertilizers.
