Orange/pink in color, this wine smells of wild strawberries and flowers. Dry, crunchy and fresh, it has many flavors of red fruits; red currants and cherries, balanced by a fine structure on the palate. It has a flavorful style with a mineral backbone.
The second Rosato of “Vino di Anna”. In 2019, organic grapes from two vineyards were hand-harvested to make this wine. 70% of the cuvée was made from our vineyard located in the contrada “Tartaraci”, at an altitude of 1,000 meters, on the NW slopes of Mount Etna. 30% comes from old Nerello Mascalese vines, from our spectacular 110-year-old red pomace vineyard, located in Contrada Monte Pomiciaro, near Linguaglossa.
The grapes from the “Tartaraci vineyard” were harvested on October 17, 2019. The vines are 70-year-old bush vines from Nerello Mascalese, Alicante (Grenache) and Grenanico. The white grapes were picked at the same time as the black grapes.
