Color: Deep ruby red with hints of purple reflection.
Nose: Very fruity followed by aromas of cherry, raspberries, mint leaves, plum jam, cedar wood. It also has very complex bouquet with scents of leather and vanilla.
On the palate: It is medium plus bodied, well integrated wood notes, sweet spices, well-balanced with pleasant tannins and long aftertaste.
It matches perfectly with roasted meat and spicy dishes.

Description

Traditional winemaking practices have been passed on for generations in our family. That spirit of preserving the old values is intrinsically related to the recent re-birth of our winery. We are the fourth generation of our family exclusively cultivating vines and producing wine for our subsistence.

It matches well with red as well as cured meat, a variety of cheeses, and dark chocolate with chili, herbs and spices.

Aging

Triada Prokupac is aged for thirty-six (36) months in French and Serbian oak wood, which are up to four (4) years old. The casks hold 225 L, 500 L, 3000 L and 5000 L.

Tasting Notes

Triada red is made from a Serbian indigenous variety called Prokupac and that is blended with a splash of Merlot. It is a modern wine with a traditional spirit.
Color: Deep ruby red.
Aroma: Aromas of red fruits, black cherry, menthol, and leather.
On the palate: Concentrated, dry, soft and velvety with well-integrated tannins.

Vinification

Fermentation and maceration for a minimum of twenty days.
