Hand harvesting, organic and biodynamic farming, 30-year-old vines, natural yeasts, and gentle treatment in the cellar, are all part of the winemaking philosophy here. The ten hectares of the Roy vineyard are situated on the right bank of the Cher hillside on flint, clay soil. The flint accumulates heat during the day and produces it during the night. The temperate weather and micro-climate allow for a good ripening of the grapes and is favorable to vine growing,

Wines are made by Anne Cecile Roy who took over her family property in 2005 after earning degrees from Bordeaux and Nantes in viticulture and oenology.
