The signature wine from one of the top Rioja estates, known for their mature reds which are held back a bit longer than many in the region. In fact, this Reserva is built more like a Gran Reserva with 21 of the 24 required months in oak followed by several years in bottle before release. This wine is a complex blend of 25 sites spread out over the estate’s eight vineyards, with an average of 40 year old vines. The very traditional winemaking follows all of the tenets of natural wine, with no funk of any kind – just a beautifully classic and rustic expression of Rioja. Ambient yeast fermentation is used and the final wine is bottled unfiltered and is certified organic and vegan. 70% Tempranillo with dashes of Garnacha and Graciano.
