Made in Northern Italy’s Valetellina, where the vineyards are so steep the grapes are harvested by helicopter, the term Inferno makes reference to the region’s dramatic temperature fluctuations which have a significant impact on grape ripening. –Here, Nebbiolo evolves with soft black cherry notes, hints of rose petal, prominent tannins and a structure built by fierce growing conditions.
