Nose: Floral and fruity. Citrus, pine needles and minerals. Underlying sweet spices: cinnamon, nutmeg, light anise and allspice. Herbs also share the profile: rosemary and thyme – and a little dustiness. Plenty going on here, yet somehow the nose gives a delicate impression.
Flavor: Sweet with heat. Medium viscosity with almond paste and vanilla creaminess. A hint of green pineapple accompanying the citrus notes. Salinity. Slight suggestion of bitters. Warming pepper heat and anise round out the finish.
