Somewhat deeper in tone than the norm for this varietal, the lifted notes of bright tangerine, grilled pineapple, rose petal, and fresh almonds are supported by deeper, darker hints of chai tea, vanilla, and a faint whiff of river rocks. Consistent with prior vintages, the palate on this Keever Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc is broad and bright, with a lovely creaminess from the sur-lie aging. The signature fresh citrus and pineapple flavors abound in the mid-palate and carry through to the finish.
