Nose – Upon opening up you are washed away with aromas of wild blackberry, with some plum and cases.

Palate – There is a classic Farella savouriness, earth and spice that develop and become more prominent with age. The finish is smooth and balanced and we are absolutely stunned by this vintage. While the wine is tightly knit upon release, it is excellently structured for aging and will mature into a beautiful, medium bodied classic.

Description

FARELLA is a family-owned vineyard and winery in the heart of the Coombsville-Napa Valley appellation. Founded in 1977, the first wines produced in 1985.
Having planted the first Cabernet Sauvignon vines in the Coombsville-Napa valley AVA, it is also the home of the first Cabernet wine produced in the AVA.
