Distinctive product of the Enrico Toro Casauria Distillery, with its peculiar dry and strong taste (70), it has become the typical liqueur of the Abruzzi tradition, known and appreciated all over the world. It is told that its centuries-old recipe dates back to Benedictine Friars who in 1100 erected San Clemente a Casauria Abbey, near the Toros factory: the forefather Beniamino extended its confines. Herbs and spices from which this inimitable liqueur originates, are well known in herbal medicine for their properties and virtues, and are still handpicked on Maiella and Morrone Mounts. Their long steep in premium alcohol and the infusion in special containers, together with the meticulous observance of the ancient recipe treasured and passed on Toros descendants, protect the goodness and the quality of this unique spirit. The unmistakable emerald green shade, derives only from the natural ingredients used.
