Douglas Laing is a family-owned, independent bottling company, established in 1948 by Fred Douglas Laing, and it is now in its third generation. It is one of the few Whisky firms in Scotland that remains independently owned. This 10-year-aged offering comes from the Glengoyne Distillery, and is unique in producing Highland single malt whisky matured in the Lowlands. Unlike many malt whisky distilleries today, Glengoyne does not use peat smoke to dry their barley, but instead uses warm air.
