Description
The Domaine is located in Mercurol in the heart of the Crozes-Hermitage appellation.
Created by their grandfather and developed by their father and mother, the domain of Lucie and Nancy now extends over 10 ha, 9 ha in red and 1 ha in white on terroirs located in the South of the designation.
Until 2010, the grapes were brought to the Tain l’Hermitage cellar. They produced their first bottles on the 2010 vintage.
For these reasons, the harvest is entirely manual, the vinification is done with indigenous yeasts, without chaptalisation or acidification and without S02.
Les Pitchounettes: selection of vines less than 20 years old, blend of 2 clay-limestone terroirs. Plots located in the south of the appellation, in Mercurol.
Vinification in vats with destemmed grapes, vatting for 3 weeks with little intervention to allow the fruit of youth to express itself. Indigenous yeasts, without chaptalization. Slight addition of sulphites at bottling (about 20 mg/l of total SO2)
