Description

Built at the end of the 19th century, Domaine de l’Echelette and its vineyards, located in the Mâconais, have been producing wine from Chardonnay, and a small amount of Pinot Noir, throughout its entire history. In 1976 Martine and Michel Champliaud purchased the estate and immediately began improving the quality of the vineyards, and subsequently, the wines. Today the domaine has 13 hectares of vines spread over Martailly-les-Brancion, Cruzille, and La Chapelle-sous-Brancion.
