Most of the vineyards for the Domaine are located in Givry’s 1er cru parcels of the Côte Chalonnaise.  The Oxfordian limestone soils provide a soft mineral component with very accessible red cherry, clove and sugar plums.  More dark fruit than red fruit with medium tannins and acidity.  The finish is long with just enough stuffing to age, but it can be consumed early with a variety of dishes.
