The roots of our History are like the roots of our vines: noble, ancient and deep. Since the 17th century, the history of Château La Vieille Cure has been written through the women and men who have lived there. Today, it is Jérôme Pignard, owner, and Frédéric Labatut, cellar master, surrounded by a passionate team, who embody our wine. Jérôme Pignard, an entrepreneur from Lyon, bought the estate in 2018, allowing it to join the French wine heritage. This perfectionist, lover of good wines, has the ambition to continue the work that will lead La Vieille Cure to the very forefront of wines from the right bank of Bordeaux. Frédéric Labatut, a native of Libourne, former restaurateur and self-taught winemaker, set foot on the property 32 years ago, never again leaving these vines which he now works with expert meticulousness.
