Unique Riesling from the Concongella vineyard (est. 1866) in Victoria. Best’s are clearly striving for a playful, distinctive style of Riesling by highlighting a few winemaking choices including spontaneous fermentation and extended skin contact in 2500L Burgundian Foudre. Even with those added nuances, this still reads as delicious Riesling, which sits at the juicier end of being technically dry (7-8g RS) with mouth-watering acidity.
