Colour: purple red with brilliant reflections.
Nose: the first nose is powerful and serious with notes of cocoa and ripe black fruit then it opens up showing more subtle and powdery aromas of spices and noble plants, black olives, sage and bay leaf. The nose is deep and charming.
Taste: the palate is smooth and powerful. Graphite and hot stones flavors emerging from the rich tannic frame. Slightly sweet notes from the ageing are discreet and noticeable. It is a powerful wine whose finish recalls the spice notes of the nose, tonka beans and the cooking juices of the red meat.
