A journey of rediscovery that of Trebbiano Spoletino, an indigenous vine that has long been forgotten despite its widespread diffusion in the past on the hills between Montefalco, Spoleto and Trevi, which is also a discovery of its versatility in relation to different winemaking approaches. A surprising potential that has pushed us to look at this grape from a new and ancient perspective at the same time. The use of terracotta and ceramic amphorae, the spontaneous fermentation without temperature control, the organic management of the vineyard and the long maceration on the skins make our Trebbiano Spoletino Anteprima Tonda a wine that expresses the territory in a natural and organic way and reveals a little-known vocation of the area for the production of white wines with great refinement prospects.

The Anteprima Tonda is a preview of what will be the Vigna Tonda, a cru that we will create with similar techniques but whose grapes will come exclusively from our “round vineyard”; a vineyard already present in the first map of the estate dated 1902, and which a few years ago we decided to replant in its characteristic circular shape following the lines of this ancient design. Replanting is still too recent to be able to consider the fruits ready for the wine we want to propose
