Description

Domaine Rolet is run with astonishing meticulousness and care by the four Rolet siblings. In an area dominated by negociants, the Rolet family farms and bottles their own wine across three AOCs: Arbois, Côtes du Jura and L’Étoile. The family grows a wide variety of grapes traditional to the region: Chardonnay, Savagnin, Poulsard, Trousseau and Pinot Noir. The vineyards are hand harvested and farmed sustainably. Vineyards are located in North Arbois on slopes of clay limestone with red marl subsoil. Domaine Rolet Pere et Fils “Tradition” Arbois Rouge is a blend of Poulsard, Trousseau and Pinot Noir. All these wine are fermented separately and blended after 18 months in large neutral barrels.
