Description
Following in his family’s footsteps, Vincent Dureuil and wife Celine took over the estate in 1994 and have been working tirelessly ever since to elevate this wine to some of the best coming out of Burgundy’s Côte Chalonnaise. Grown in the village of Rully, located at the northernmost boundary of Côte Chalonnaise, and only 15 minutes from some of the best sites in Côte d’Or, Dureuil believes wholeheartedly in the potential of this exceptional terroir and his wines have proved him correct year after year. The Domaine spans 20 hectares split between the Côte Chalonnaise, Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits. With the majority of the vines exceeding 50 years old, and emboldened with the knowledge passed down from the previous generation, Dureuil employs contemporary organic practices without foregoing ancient wisdom.
