Pale, white gold in colour with an ultra-fine bead. The initial aromas offer up juicy, granny-smith apples with hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, and spice notes. As it opens in the glass the Pinot provides complex layers of brioche, almond and fresh pastries while the Chardonnay gives an etheral citrus freshness and brightness.Still so youthful with many years ahead but a sheer delight at present, from the wonderful 2015 vintage – this is everything a ‘Special Club’ release should represent. Class.
