GiÀ, is a young red wine released 3 months after harvest. It is not a novelty wine. It is not produced according to the criteria and techniques (e.g. carbonic maceration) used to make wine nouvelle. It does not have a predicted “shelf life” or expiration time. It is simply a wine that is ready earlier than the rest. Gia, a D.O.C. “Langhe” combines the personality of the three most typical and popular varieties of Langhe – Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetto. They are harvested separately and then expertly assembled. Gia is eco-friendly—the 1L “Volumi Bollati” bottle is made with 85% recycled glass. The label is also printed on recycled paper using vegetable-based colors.
