Outstanding village-level white Burgundy from one of the most respected estates in the region. Leflaive carefully blend Chardonnay from seven plots (total area of 4.6 hectares) whose vines were planted as far back as 1955 in calcerous clay. Classically styled, this full bodied and texturally impressive wine proudly shows it’s oak influence, as fermentation and a one year maturation occur in only the finest barrels from Vosges and Allier (18% new). Finally, the wine is settled for six months in tanks before being bottled lightly fined and filtered.
