Description
Today we own 0.83 hectares, located high up, between the Musigny of Domaine Prieur and our plot of Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Combe d’Orveau. Our plot, ideally located in the “en Orveaux” subclimate, offers our vines a southern exposure, giving rise to a sunny and generous wine, although it is not very colorful due to the low clay content of the soil. . The wine is distinguished by its minerality and pronounced acidity. Deeply marked by its sloping terroir, characterized by shallow marly soils sensitive to frost and drought, our Echezeaux fully reveals its grandeur during wet years, the vintage playing a significant role in its character.
