The flagship of the estate, the only grand cru red on the Côte de Beaune, the “Clos des Cortons Faiveley” has been a monopoly of our family since 1874, it extends majestically over 2 ha 76. Its unique name is the result of a controversy in the 1930s: to the original name “Clos des Cortons Monopole” our family surname was added to avoid any confusion. Clos des Cortons Faiveley combines a rich history with the image of its exceptional and complex terroir. Its soil, dominated by limestone, marl, clay and dotted with ferruginous oliths, produces red wines of unrivaled quality.
