Description

The ARLAUD estate originated in 1942 thanks to the meeting of a Burgundian, Renée AMIOT, and Joseph ARLAUD , from Ardèche. The wedding basket contained beautiful vines that Joseph completed in 1949. In 1966, they acquired a historic 14th century site for wine aging. This cellar has since appeared on our label. Hervé ARLAUD succeeded his father in 1983 and continued to expand the vineyard with his wife Brigitte . Their children joined them successively. They all worked together on the estate from 2004 to 2012. In 2013 , Cyprien ARLAUD took over sole management of the family estate, which includes 19 appellations on 15 hectares with four Grands Crus : Clos de la Roche, Clos Saint Denis, Charmes Chambertin and Bonnes Mares. The historic cellar is in the heart of Nuits Saint Georges. This authentic and unique place carries within it 3 generations of Burgundian hospitality. It now houses a collection of old vintages.
