In the glass, very delicate notes of small red fruits quickly take their ease. A slight touch of dry fruit adds to the complexity. The entry on the palate is tonic, the tannins show finesse, until the spicy finish. Reasoned maturation in barrels (15% new) preserves its pleasant character. A fine introduction to the world of Chambolle-Musigny.
