Description

Ferruccio De Bernard, master distiller, founded Distilleria Dell’Alpe in 1948 in Bastia D’Alpago, a small village at the foot of the eastern Alps. Among his various recipes, Ferruccio patents a mysterious drink: the Kapriol liqueur, commonly nicknamed the Distillate of the forest , obtained through a slow and complex distillation, fractionated on the harvesting site, of juniper berries infused with other medicinal herbs typical of the alpine areas. In 2002 the Maschio Beniamino Srl company took over Distilleria dell’Alpe with the intention of carrying forward and relaunching the range of traditional Venetian liqueurs, including the Kapriol Classico Liqueur , original since 1948.
