Description

The Covides cooperative society, which was founded in 1964, has approximately 650 members from the Alt and Baix Penedès and Garraf areas, with 2300 ha of its own vineyards and 3 cellars equipped with the latest technology for producing wines and cavas.
It is the number one winegrowing cooperative society in Catalonia and one of the most important in Spain, the sixth most important manufacturer of cava worldwide, and the second most important cooperative society belonging to the Penedès DO. Covides also exports 65% of its production to more than 45 countries and is present in all 5 continents.
