Marcel Baly first, always looking for new projects, decided to invest boldly in this wine world that he knows little about. The first harvests were not done without the involvement of his sons, Philippe and Dominique Baly. Today, it is Aline Baly who brings the third generation into the family business. And as improbable as this story may be, it has linked and rooted the Baly family to Barsac since 1977. From the experiences that they also carry out in other sectors and other regions of the world, the members of the Baly family draw a special way of learning and understanding the vine and wine. Thus, together, they worked to renovate the vineyard and buildings, and subsequently brought the estate into an era of great technical mastery, developing close collaboration with the teams at Baron Philippe de Rothschild SA.
