Don Américo García Núñez grew up among barrels. And since he founded the winery, he has been determined to continue the tradition inaugurated by his father, Don Casiano, also a winemaker. This Arautava Tinto Tradicional is the culmination of his efforts to achieve an authentic Listán Negro. He created an excellent wine that reflects the profound mineral richness of Tenerife’s volcanic soils with a stately personality. Made with grapes mostly from century-old vineyards, organized using the ancient Cordón Trenzado technique: a cultivation method originating in the Orotava Valley. We carefully monitor each vineyard to harvest at the peak of ripeness. Every sip of this Listán Negro reveals its varietal character, evoking the Atlantic roots of the wines from northern Tenerife.
