Named best blended whisky in the world at the World Whiskies Awards 2022, Akkeshi Shosho is a creation of the Akkeshi distillery located on the northernmost island of Hokkaido in Japan.

This Japanese world blend is a blend of a majority of malts whiskies distilled at Akkeshi with some imported grain whiskies and aged in the distillery’s cellar. All the whiskies in its composition have been matured in different types of casks (bourbon, mizunara, sherry casks) to give birth to a blend with a deep and complex profile.
