The Ferrara family produces tiny amounts of stunning Greco di Tufo from three hectares of vines situated in San Paolo di Tufo in the heart of Campania, where they have been making wine since 1880. Ferrara's vines are planted on steep volcanic slopes at 450-600 metres above sea level, where hand-harvesting is obligatory and where the sulphurous nature of the soil only serves to enhance the aromatic characteristics of the Greco di Tufo grape.
