Integrated into our estate at the heart of the financial crisis of the 1930s, this Chambertin Clos de Bèze is one of the most emblematic appellations of Côte Bourguignonne. Geographically located in the heart of the other Grands Crus of Gevrey (Mazis, Latricières, Charmes), Clos de Bèze embodies their excellence. We own three plots totaling 1.29 hectares: “Grands Rangs”, “Clos de Bèze Haut” and “Vieilles Vignes”. These vines are traditionally vinified separately then meticulously assembled before bottling. The soil, made up of scree rich in limestone, gives the terroir a profound complexity. All the richness and subtlety of this vintage are enhanced by its aging, revealing its full potential.
