Description
Château Sainte Béatrice: Owner of Château Roubine since 1994, Valérie Rousselle has just acquired Château Sainte-Béatrice.
Passionate about her job as a winegrower, she is now at the head of the largest vineyard in Lorgues, a town in the Var where the two properties are located. Mr and Mrs Novaretti, Monegasques but from the Var at heart, built this vineyard located on a magnificent terroir for more than 30 years before handing it over to Valérie Rousselle. Having the desire to develop and extend the range of her wines, it was after falling in love with this jewel of 50 hectares in the Côtes de Provence, that this native of Saint Tropez chose Château Sainte Béatrice to write a new chapter in her history and to pursue her dreams as a winegrower passionate about her land. With its vines 30 years old on average, some of which are 60 years old, the vineyard hosts a beautiful diversity of noble grape varieties including Grenache, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cinsault for the reds and rosés, then Sémillon and Rolle for the whites. It is favored by a southern exposure and on the hillsides that the estate’s motto “Quality and Tradition” takes on its full meaning. Château Sainte Béatrice has a real identity, easily recognizable on each bottle, bearing the strong symbol of the boat of Sainte Dévote, patron saint and protective soul of the Monegasque identity located above the red and white coat of arms of the principality. In a homogeneous and optimal way, Château Sainte Béatrice and Château Roubine are now managed by bringing synergies into play. With an enlarged team, there are now twice as many experts, ideas, skills and know-how at the service of the quality of the wines to bring them to the best of the appellation.
