This last cuvée of the Labet house is supplied by a very small vineyard of about 0.46 ha, deriving from a mass selection planted in 1969. The soil is mainly clayey with parts of blue marl, exposed to the west and an analysis of 350m. The wine ages for nine months in cask and one month in tonneau. When bottling the wine is neither filtered nor clarified and no sulfur is added.

Description

“While not organic, Labet is attempting to work as close to natural principles as possible: He considers the domaine to be completely sustainable: no chemical fertilizers or pesticides are used, and only organic compost is plowed into the soils. Most of the vines are from pre-clonal stock (sélections massales) and the yeasts are indigenous.
