Description

Established since the Middle Ages around the abbeys, the vineyard aroused the interest of the kings of France in the 16th century. In 1577, the Paris parliament promulgated a law prohibiting Parisians from purchasing wines produced within twenty leagues (88km) of the capital. To meet demand, the plantations were initially extended around Orléans, then increasingly further downstream, towards Blois and Tours. Men will know how to take advantage of this Terroir, to make quality wines, fine, fruity and pleasurable wines.
