Caroline is the seventh generation of winemakers and the first woman in the traditional castle estate, which she has been running together with her husband Sylvain Taurisson-Diel since July 2019. The German-French couple belongs to the new, anti-elitist generation of winemakers. For her, the interaction between job and family is inseparable. However, their areas of work are clearly defined. Sylvain is responsible for sales and marketing, Caroline for the wine – in all its facets. From year to year, the qualified oenologist gives her Rieslings and Burgundies an increasingly personal signature – straightforward, mineral, terroir-influenced and authentic.
