With around 9 hectares of vineyards in the most important locations in and around Spitz, the winery already has a very good basis for great wines. In addition to the classic grape varieties such as Grüner Veltliner and Riesling, some Neuburger and Muskateller are also grown. The path leads over a small bridge in the Spitzer Graben to the historic property, which dates back to the 16th century. The family-run wine tavern was closed a few years ago and Johann has dedicated himself to high-quality wines ever since. And that was a very good decision. The estate has achieved its greatest success to date at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2009 in London, the largest wine competition in the world. The wines are now exported from Australia via India to the USA.
