Guyana Rum 2004 Transcontinental Rum Line

A 14 year old rum from the Diamond distillery in Guyana. Distilled in 2004 and bottled in 2018 by La Maison du Whisky. Diamond is the only remaining distillery in Guyana, although it is home to many of the county’s historic stills, producing an array of different styles of rum.

This is likely a blend of rum from a combination of these.

Bottled at a cask strength of 60.1% ABV and 99% aged in continental weather, which allows for a slower maturation than in tropical climates.
