The distinctly Alsace-like 2015 vintage was hand-picked at Rapaura, fermented with indigenous yeasts and matured for 10 months in French oak barriques (10 per cent new). Bottled unfined and unfiltered, it is pale gold, with a gently honeyed bouquet. It is fleshy, peachy, spicy and vaguely honeyed on the palate, with complexity, a slightly oily richness and a smooth, very harmonious finish. Delicious drinking now onwards.
