Taking things a step further than a single vineyard bottling, Radio-Coteaux craft this incredible Chardonnay from only two blocks of vines within the Savoy Vineyard. While one is planted to the Wente clone (which is known for citrus and minerality), the other features Prosser (richer and more fruit-forward). These lots are expertly blended by winemaker Eric Sussman, who is highly influenced by old world techniques and favors minimal intervention in the cellar. Fermentation is spontaneous with ambient yeast before the wine matures in French oak barrels for 16 months (20% new). Bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal added sulfur.
