Deep garnet in hue, this Knights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is full of ripe, black cherry aromas that are complimented with a touch of nutmeg, cinnamon stick and earthy bark. The wine is soft and supple upon entry on the palate and explodes with flavors of cherry-pie filling and ripe red plums. As the wine opens up, cool fruit flavors of blueberries and blackberries show through. Hints of cocoa powder meld with the tannins and a firm acidity keep this bold wine fresh and inviting. The wine ends warm and long with elegant oak notes and a toasty finish.
