Amarone Classico 2008 has maintained its typical dumping so important, “the essence of the territory” of Valpolicella without exceeding the residual sugar. It is a product with personality and great structure but which can also communicate elegance and depth in the tasting, in addition to a great complexity.
The taste is rich and deep, elegant and powerful at the same time, still young but already very harmonious, with typical notes of cherry and blackcurrant that blend well with the wine’s complexity.

Description

The 2008 harvest has been a point of return to the tradition of the territory, after several years when excessive heat and early ripening. A wet and rainy spring followed by a summer not too hot and a nice, dry September allowed to collect perfect grapes for drying.

During the step of drying the grapes have proved to be rich in sugars but also of great elegance and complexity.

It crushing started in January and the fermentations were held with a neighboring average duration of 30 days. It followed an aging in wood that did not want to be intrusive but only completed and let the wine its characteristics of fruit and complexity simultaneously.
It is a great personality with long aging capacity wine, at least 20 years.
