Clocking in at 116-128 proof depending on the batch, Kings County Barrel-Strength Bourbon is pulled from older barrels than our flagship bourbon, aged any where from two to almost five+ years. Many enthusiasts prefer whiskey straight from the barrel, which allows the drinker to add ice or water to taste. Smooth and bold, this is our most flavorful and intense whiskey. Wine and Spirits magazine awarded it Best Bourbon of 2015.

Our latest release of barrel strength bourbon has a 3 year age statement, but contains barrels as old as 5.7 years. This is intense, flavorful, versatile bourbon at 63.7% abv (128 proof). Notes of blackberry, fig, raisin, tobacco, brown sugar, toasted oak, and dried cherry on the nose, with ripe vine fruit, wild cherry, dark caramel, gingerbread, and a hint of cream soda on the palate. Never chill filtered, this is a richly textured, velvety whiskey for being such a high proof.
