Description

Located at the southern gateway to the Côte de Beaune, the 20-hectare vineyard produces 15 Appellations d’Origine Contrôlée (Controlled Designations of Origin). The terroir is clay-limestone, located mainly on outcrops dating from the Upper Triassic (-230 to –195 million years ago) and the Lower Jurassic (-195 to –175 million years ago). The vines are 30 years old on average, the oldest vine planted by the Grandfather 75 years ago testifies to the care taken in viticulture both in terms of controlling yields and respecting the terroir (maintenance of the soil and integrated protection of the vineyard).
