| Production | Vineyards cover 200 hectares on an island by the mouth of the Rhone river featuring sand, silt, and alluvial soils of the region. Sustainable viticulture is practiced, no weed-killers or synthetic fertilizers are used. Temperature controled fermentation in tank in order to keep the genuine fruit. The different varietals are macerated and fermented separately for +/- 20 days. The blend is achieved to reach the typical fruity-spicy character of this wine (Merlot and Cabernet Franc) but also to bring some nice structure and add a layer of complexity (Arinarnoa, Petit Verdot and Carménère). Aged in tank. |
